Welcome to Knowledge Conduit, a division of Insanitek Research and Development.
Hi there! Knowledge Conduit was born out of a desire to help more people than just one person (our founder and CEO, Grace Conyers) could reach at a single time. She understood the kid’s struggle to learn and the parent’s desire to help them in every way they could. But, as only one person Grace couldn’t help everyone — even though she tried.
After a year of trying to be superhuman, Grace hit upon an idea.
What if there were more of me? What if I could get a tutoring ring together to help those in need? What if we pulled together as an international community to share knowledge? What if we broke down barriers between people to make this happen?
The idea floated around in her head a while as she tried to figure out how to give more people quality tutoring and mentoring services. That’s when she came upon Adrianne, founder of The Tutor House, and an idea was born.
You see, Adrianne is a tutor in Iowa that not only works with students, but also puts together worksheets for other tutors to help them run their tutoring business more effectively. Adrianne and Grace paired up their brains to come up Knowledge Conduit: an army of tutors ready to help those that reach out and ask for help.
Knowledge Conduit Now
That was then; this is now.
After just a month of planning Knowledge Conduit has a staff of two, a few worksheets available for download, and dozens of more in planning. And we’re still growing. We have lofty goals that we won’t shy away from:
- Blogs full of tips for parents, students, and educators.
- Forums for quick Q&A from peers and experts.
- Online classes from experts and educators.
Whether you’re a parent seeking help for your child, an educator wanting to reach out to more students, a student just wanting to leap ahead, or an autodidact looking to pick up some new skills and knowledge, this is your headquarters. Knowledge Conduit is aimed at helping as many people as we can help while creating a community and safe place for people to learn, grow, and share what they know of the world.
After all, knowledge is something that should be shared. It should be used to light up worlds and invite curiosity to ask why. It should be a quiet inner strength that empowers us to create the world we dream of living in. That’s the Insanitek way of geeking responsibly — by growing beyond limitations.
