If you have an innovation you think is special, why not enter it into the annual R&D awards?
This award recognises and celebrates the top 100 technology innovations of the year.
Called the âOscars of Innovationâ, the R&D 100 Awards recognizes and celebrates the top 100 technology products of the year. Past winners have included sophisticated testing equipment, innovative new materials, chemistry breakthroughs, biomedical products, consumer items, and high-energy physics. The R&D 100 Awards span industry, academia, and government-sponsored research.
At the awards, you’ll showcase your invention while networking amongst media, investors, and other winners.
So, what do they look for when judging the competition?
[T]he judges are not asked to choose the most complex or challenging new products. They are looking for innovation, which can be as simple as a breakthrough alloy of metal that can reduce costs in an industrial setting. The metal itself might not have a lot of âwowâ, but the cost savings sure can. These are the kinds of things judges notice.
Think you have what it takes? They are taking entries until 30.April.2013
