Thank you for registering to participate in the online science workshop
Ice on a String
In this hands on science workshop we’re combining science know-how with a bit of cheekiness and slight of hand to do a fun magic trick. It’s a simple, delightful way for you to teach melting and freezing points while the kids get to show off to their family and friends.
To the right you’ll see a picture. Click it to download a PDF which has your workshop details, such as software and hardware you will need to round up to do this workshop from your home right along with us. The packet also has the step by step directions — in case you want to practise behind your little’s back so it looks like you’re magical too.
Participation in these workshops just means that you help your children along as they explore the world around them. We’ll guide by showing you all what to do, explain the science and a little history, and give you ideas for future experiments. All you have to do is gather the tools and have fun helping your children as we all explore our world together.
Any links in the PDFs go straight to the cheapest product we could find at the time of making the lab. Prices may have changed. Some links may be affiliate links, which give us a small commission at no extra cost to you.
